Gulf Coast Sales Manager - (EPC | Refining & Chemicals)

Quest Energy Group

Houston, TX • On-site

$150K - $185K/yr

Full-time

Job description

Follow Quest on linkedin at: Quest Energy Group
Quest (www.questenergygroup.com) is the Energy Sector's Leading Executive Search and Talent Acquisition Firm
Business Development Manager - Gulf Coast (EPC | Refining & Chemicals)
Houston, TX or Gulf Coast Remote
A well-established, privately held EPC firm is looking for a proven business developer to own and grow their Gulf Coast presence in the refining, chemical, and petrochemical markets.
This isn't a management role. It's a hunting role - for someone who is actively in front of clients today, has real relationships with decision-makers at major operators, and knows how to sell engineering and construction services into complex, long-cycle capital projects.
What you'll be doing:
Building and closing new business with downstream and chemical clients across the Gulf Coast - think Houston, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, Lake Charles. You'll carry a VP-level title that gives you the credibility you need in the room, but the expectation is individual contribution and revenue generation, not team management.
The right person has:
  • 10+ years selling EPC, engineering services, or capital project work into refineries, chemical plants, or petrochemical facilities
  • Active relationships with procurement, engineering, and project leadership at operators like Chevron, Dow, LyondellBasell, BASF, Phillips 66, Celanese, Motiva, INEOS, Sasol, or similar
  • A track record of winning - not just pursuing - multi-million dollar project scopes
  • The ability to work independently and navigate long sales cycles without hand-holding

Compensation: $150,000-$185,000 base + bonus + full benefits
