As a Senior Manager, Global Heavy Duty Margin Management you will LEAD by..........

Tracking the status of assigned segment profitability on an on-going basis for the SPA period and own contract database content to evaluate business risks and claim potentials. Identify claim opportunities to meet strategic Margin+ target of >20m/year.

In this role you will 

  • Ensure new contractual obligations are updated based on PLM programs entries, ensure link to Strategic Planning team
  • Identify, evaluate and prepare claims incl. analysis of contract database, volume deviations
  • Evaluate business risks and provide proposals to improve contract clauses
  • Drive margin improvement plan on track measures identified during Account Reviews in line with strategy and Business Rules
  • Provide guidance to Product Managers globally to define pricing/margin strategies at the competition level until business award
  • Develop tools with Controlling and Procurement to incorporate ECMS optimum value steering metrics and define Roles and Responsibilities for tool and data maintenance
  • Act as coordinator for regional Margin Managers in the assigned segment/region for profitability tracking and improvement measure execution

 

Your elements for success......

  • Masters degree in science, economics, finance, marketing, engineering, or related field
  • 10+  years commercial / customer facing and/or controlling experience in the automotive market
  • Informal leadership (influence without authority) skills required. Stakeholder management of up to 20 people at anytime.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills as well as ability to present with Senior Leadership required.
  • Knowledge of P&L management and margin optimization opportunities.
