A Basement Waterproofing Technician is responsible for preventing water from entering basements and crawl spaces in residential or commercial buildings. They assess water intrusion issues, install or repair waterproofing systems such as sump pumps, drainage systems, sealants, and vapor barriers, and perform regular maintenance. Their work helps protect properties from mold, structural damage, and costly repairs.

To thrive as a Basement Waterproofing Technician, you need hands-on skills in construction, concrete repair, and moisture control, typically supported by a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant on-the-job training.
