Job Description
Basement Bistro Associate prepares and serves food to patients, employees and guests of the Health System in accordance with departmental and regulatory agency guidelines. They assist guests at cash register along with properly cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining service, preparation, and delivery areas and equipment in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Department: Food and Nutrition
Hours: Per Diem, 16 hours per week. * This is not health benefit eligible
Required: Food Handlers Certificate within in 30 days of hire
Pay: based on experience $16.14
Responsibilities
Adjust menu and recipes according to availability and nutritional equivalent in an effort to ensure customer satisfaction while managing fiscal resources., Complies with sanitation regulations and standards established by all regulatory agencies., Computes food production requirements utilizing existing raw food and supply inventories whenever possible in accordance with recipe and menu requirements, Ensures all signage and labels reflect assigned Nutritional Values and Prices as set on the daily menu cycle. , Ensures that all foods are covered, labeled, dated and timed in accordance with HACCP guidelines., Maintains accurate recording of all Basement Bistro transactions. , Maintains accurate recording of all Basement Bistro transactions. , Maintains a friendly and cheerful demeanor at all times reflecting the culture we promote , Maintains the safe operation of all food service equipment., Prepares, portions, and serves all foods specified on the daily menu in an effort to enhance customer satisfaction., Records and monitors all quality control indicators, HACCP., Stocks all food supplies in accordance with regulatiory guidelines.
