Opportunity

At Chick-fil-A Spotsylvania Towne Centre, we are looking for a driven, high-capacity leader to join our team as a Restaurant Operations Director. This is not a traditional restaurant management position. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity designed for someone who wants to build a career, develop leaders, and gain meaningful ownership within a growing business.

Working directly alongside Owner/Operator James Sullivan, you will help lead daily operations, develop future leaders, improve business performance, and create remarkable experiences for both guests and team members. While this role initially focuses heavily on Front of House leadership, the long-term vision is much bigger. The right candidate will have the opportunity to take on increasing operational responsibility, influence strategic decisions, and become a key leader in the future growth of the business.

If you are looking for an opportunity to lead people, drive results, improve systems, and gain direct mentorship from an Owner/Operator who successfully progressed from Team Member to Chick-fil-A Operator, we would love to meet you.

Your Impact

  • Lead all Front of House operations, ensuring excellence in guest experience, speed of service, accuracy, cleanliness, and overall restaurant performance.
  • Build and develop a high-performing leadership pipeline by coaching Shift Leaders and Team Members, identifying future leaders, and creating clear paths for growth and accountability.
  • Partner directly with the Owner/Operator to drive key business metrics including labor productivity, guest satisfaction, food safety, staffing health, and operational execution.
  • Analyze guest feedback, CEM data, labor reports, and operational trends to identify opportunities, solve problems, and implement solutions that improve results.
  • Own scheduling, staffing, and labor stewardship, balancing exceptional hospitality with strong financial performance and responsible resource management.
  • Lead and influence a team of 50+ Team Members and leaders through intentional coaching, clear expectations, performance conversations, and consistent follow-through.
  • Collaborate with the Culinary Director and leadership team to align Front and Back of House operations, strengthen communication, and create a unified restaurant culture.
  • Ensure Chick-fil-A standards are executed consistently through proactive coaching, operational discipline, food safety excellence, and attention to detail.
  • Create systems, processes, and operational improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen execution, and support long-term restaurant growth.
  • Help prepare the restaurant for future expansion and Operator relocation goals by building leadership bench strength, developing successors, and creating sustainable operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture rooted in Ownership, Responsibility, Excellence, and Care while helping team members grow both personally and professionally.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Owner/Operator, helping translate vision into action and ensuring key initiatives are executed effectively.

Background Profile

  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
  • Restaurant, hospitality, retail, military, or comparable leadership experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Desire to grow professionally and take on increasing levels of responsibility
  • Passion for serving others and developing people
  • Alignment with Chick-fil-A's values, culture, and commitment to excellence
