Officiates sports games.

  • Officiate a variety of games; makes appropriate and consistent decisions during the game.
  • Enforces relevant rules of conduct.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES
  • Studies and maintains knowledge about game rules of the sports officiated.
  • Performs additional duties to support operational requirements as assigned.

Education and Experience
Completion of High School or GED. Position requires no experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the specific requirements listed above
Certifications/Licenses
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record according to City criteria.

Advanced knowledge of the subject matter. Complete comprehension of the subject area to solve common and unusual problems, able to advise on technical matters, and serve as a resource on the subject for others.
Reading
Basic: Ability to recognize meaning of common two- or three-syllable words and ability to read and understand written instructions.
