Part-Time Seasonal Sports Facility Supervisor for Parks & Recreation
Posting Date: March 3, 2026
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay Rate: $16.00/Hour
Hours: Seasonal part-time position including varying shifts and hours including nights (5pm-11pm), and weekends as needed. 15-30 hours/week.
Job Description
The parks and recreation department are looking for part-time/seasonal employees to assist with the supervision of youth and adult sports leagues and events run by the city.
Sports Facility Supervisor (5pm-11pm, weekends as needed)
โ€ข Supervise parks and recreation athletic events such as baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, and football at parks and athletic facilities including ball diamonds, gymnasiums, soccer fields, and football fields.
โ€ข Act as the main contact point at the park during athletic events for officials and coaches.
โ€ข Performing general operations at the facility during games including unlocking and locking the fields and bathrooms before and after games, turning on lights for night games, and replacing full trash cans with new bags.
โ€ข Ensuring the safety of all in attendance including athletes, officials, and spectators.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Must also obtain standard CPR and First Aid (certification upon appointment).
Driving record must meet city's standards for insurability.
