Job description

Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. At Charter One we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of charter school operations, academics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, and more. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.


American Leadership Academy is currently seeking a qualified Varsity Head Baseball Coach for the 2026-2027 season for our West Foothills High School campus located in the West Valley. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Make specific requests for equipment and supplies with help from the Assistant Coach. Assign priority based on safety, need and cost.
  • Manage care and distribution of equipment and supplies
  • Attend all meetings held by the Athletic Director and the League Chairperson.
  • Establish good public relations with parents, teachers, community, and the news media.
  • Report contest results to the Athletic Director.
  • Verify all practice/game fields are safe for players and spectators.
  • Have a well-developed coaching philosophy.
  • Have a “Plan for Success” that outlines expectations and discipline for the program.
  • Develop a year-round action plan for maximizing the potential of each athlete.
  • Other duties as assigned, including any pre or post-season responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience as Coach
  • Previous classroom teaching experience
