Please note: This is an unpaid, for college credit internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility and enrollment to receive academic credit for their time interning with THEโ€ข TEAM and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.
What You'll Do
  • Support the Baseball Client Services & Marketing team with various tasks
  • Conduct cold calls and marketing outreach as directed
  • Create excel spreadsheets and pitch decks to organize and conduct marketing outreach
  • Research potential marketing opportunities for current clients and NIL
  • Assist with various client service needs of clients including restaurant reservations, hotel reservations, and other needs as they arrive
  • Prepare expense reports
  • Assist in organizing client data to excel the client service and marketing efforts
  • Assist with holiday gift ideas, award gifts, etc.
  • Various administrative duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
  • Degree currently in progress, preferably majoring in a sports-related field
  • Applicants must be organized, self-motivated, passionate and enthusiastic.
  • Applicants must possess a professional attitude while demonstrating initiative and strong communication skills.
  • Applicants should have an interest in sports business and sales/marketing as well as
    be eager to learn about and contribute to the marketing and endorsement efforts of
    professional athletes by cold calling and other communication skills.
  • Applicants with sales, marketing, business development and cold calls experience are strongly
    preferred.
  • Well-developed communication, organizational and time management skills, as well as basic administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Displays indications of being loyal and trustworthy with the organization and clients

  • For college credit only
  • Runs from September 9th, 2026 - December 11th, 2026
  • This is a hybrid opportunity - candidate must be able to work out of our Los Angeles based office at least once a week (more days preferred)
