An intern or trainee with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos works in an organization and environment that is recognized as one of the best in minor league baseball. The Blue Wahoos will provide each intern or trainee with valuable work experience and introduce them to the world of baseball operations; this position is also great preparation for a full-time position with the Blue Wahoos or other sports organizations.

Generally, our Intern & Trainee program accepts candidates for the Spring and Summer semesters.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

The Trainee position is a seasonal, part-time, non-exempt position. It is generally limited to a maximum of 30 hours per week. Hours of work will vary to include evenings and weekends.

The Intern position is seasonal, part-time, and offers college credit in lieu of compensation. Participation in the Intern program requires enrollment in an accredited university, and the activities performed during the course of the internship will satisfy intern course requirements for a degree program.
