Position: BAS Installer Lead IV

Compensation: $30.00/HR- $40.00/HR

We specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining building automation systems for commercial and industrial buildings. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BAS Installer Lead IV to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of BAS installers and ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of building automation systems. The BAS Installer Lead IV will also be responsible for providing guidance and training to junior installers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and maintaining a high level of quality in all work performed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform hardware verification for floor-level BAS systems
  • Install conduit raceways and control wiring as directed
  • Independently execute BAS installations for floor-level, mechanical room–level, and plant-level systems
  • Plan, coordinate, and line out BAS installations at all system levels
  • Lead and supervise crews to complete BAS projects valued up to $200k
  • Read and interpret BAS system submittal drawings
  • Read and interpret MEP plans and project specifications
  • Ensure installations comply with SWECS standards, project requirements, and safety regulations
  • Represent SWECS in a professional and responsible manner on all job sites

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience installing BAS systems
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising the installation of BAS Systems
  • Ability to hardware verify Plant level BAS Systems
  • Strong knowledge of BAS and electrical installation materials and wiring
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently for extended periods
  • Proven leadership and crew management experience

Certifications and Requirements

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification (required)
  • Valid drivers license and qualification to operate a company vehicle
  • Reliable transportation
  • Maintains a minimum required tool list
  • Meets SWECS minimum eligibility requirements for new hires

Performance Expectations

  • Maintains excellent attendance and reliability
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Adheres to SWECS safety, quality, and professional conduct standards
