Job description

The Electrical Engineer position at Laminar Flow requires a self-sufficient engineer with a minimum of 5yrs experience in medium (600Vac and less) and low voltage (48vdc and less) power and controls. A successful candidate will also be required to have experience in all facets of creating a complete electrical package from concept through final FAT.

Education:          BS in Electrical Engineering, MS a plus

Experience:         Minimum 5yrs in controls/automation, motor controls, and industrial panel design

Certifications:    None required, PE and/or UL508A QMTR a plus

Candidate will require design experience in:

·        3 phase/1 phase electrical wiring and control

·        24Vdc controls

·        Analog and Digital Instrumentation

·        Electrical Schematics

·        Industrial controls panels per UL508A

·        PLC Programming, documentation, and debug

·        HMI Programming, documentation, and debug

General Experience required:

·        Knowledge of, and has followed design requirements per, the NEC and UL508A

·        Be able to prioritize schedules, supervise and direct a team of technicians

·        Proficiency in AutoCad/AutoCad LT

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Additional Experience a plus:

o   BAS/BMS communication protocols (Allen-Bradley, BACNet, Modbus, etc)

o   EC Motors and control

o   Air Filtration and HVAC

o   Wired and wireless network connectivity
