Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Senior Field Service Technician to support our Building Automation and HVAC Control Systems in the Elizabeth, New Jersey area. In this role, you will report directly to the Field Service Manager and play a key role in delivering high-quality service, technical support, and system optimization for our customer sites.
You will work independently and as a technical leader within the team, providing advanced troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning support for complex building systems.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level service and support for building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC control systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain EBI (Enterprise Buildings Integrator) front-end systems and CPO (Custom Programmable Output) DDC controllers.
  • Perform server patching, schedule and manage system backups, and carry out controller-level diagnostics and updates.
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor for junior technicians, assisting with complex field issues and training as needed.
  • Interface directly with customers to assess system issues, recommend solutions, and ensure satisfaction with service delivery.
  • Perform diagnostics, commissioning, and system upgrades for BAS/HVAC systems across multiple customer sites.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, system updates, and site-specific configurations.

Qualifications
The annual base salary range for this position is $62,400-$78,000 . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Must Have
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on field experience in building automation and HVAC control systems.
