Job Summary:

A Bartender at Mellow Mushroom is responsible for providing an exceptional experience to all guests. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and handling a variety of duties. You should be able to communicate effectively with guests to ensure that they are provided with the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests as they arrive as needed

- Assist guest with online orders

- Take orders from guests, along with recommendations and enter them into the POS system

- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner

- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns they may have

- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests

- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

- High level of urgency

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant preferred

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

- A clean, professional image at all times

- 21 years or older preferred

- At least 2 years of bartending experience
