Position Summary:

Felt Poker Room & Lounge is a brand new, state-of-the-art entertainment hub in Des Moines, Washington. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Bartender to join our team. As a key member of our bar team, you'll ensure our guests enjoy a memorable experience, mixing drinks and cocktails with skill and precision. In addition to your bartending duties, you'll maintain a clean, organized bar, and assist in keeping supplies stocked to meet the needs of our high-energy environment. If you're known for your strong customer service, have a great knowledge of beverages and cocktails, and thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic beverages, including wines, cocktails, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable experience by accurately mixing and serving drinks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies as necessary.
  • Stay informed about events on the property and share relevant information with bar guests.
  • Present menu with knowledge of items, answer questions, make suggestions, and clearly communicate menu details.
  • Input orders in “Toast” POS to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and bar.
  • Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Bartender Training and/or Previous Bartender Experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Have or obtain Class 12 Alcohol Server Permit (MAST)
  • Have or obtain Current Washington State Food Worker Card
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with “Toast” Point of Sale system (POS).
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and use time efficiently.
  • Knowledge of applicable local and state federal health and safety regulations.
