Their goal is to prepare students for real-world bartending jobs by combining hands-on practice with theoretical knowledge.

What does a bartender instructor do?

A typical day for a Bartender Instructor involves preparing lesson plans, demonstrating mixology techniques, supervising hands-on practice, and providing feedback to students. You may also be responsible for evaluating student performance, maintaining a safe and organized training environment, and staying up to date with industry trends. Collaboration with other instructors and staff to update curricula or coordinate special events is also common. This mix of practical teaching and mentorship helps students develop both the technical and customer service skills needed in real-world bartending roles.

To thrive as a Bartender Instructor, you need extensive bartending experience, in-depth knowledge of cocktail techniques, and often a certification in hospitality or mixology.
