Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Employment Includes: Free medical, dental and vision after your first 90 days. 80 hours of paid vacation, 12 paid holiday's and 80 hours of sick pay as well!

Job Title:                  Office Assistant Full-Time

Department:             Operations

Reports To:             Regional Manager / Property Managers

Supervises:             None

FLSA Status:           Non-exempt

Summary:

The position of Office Assistant is designed to provide direct assistance to the development’s Resident Managers and Regional Manager. The Office Assistant will provide clerical support 5 days per week. If employee is scheduled to work more than 6 hrs. per day, employee is required to take a one (1) hour lunch break. The Office Assistant is required to perform his or her assigned duties for the development during a forty (40) hour work-week. Forty (40) hours are to be worked from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Due to the nature of Property Management, there will be an occasional emergency so this schedule may allow for additional hours to handle emergencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 Assist with the collection and posting of monies received at all development.

Assist with inputting invoices at all developments.

Assist the manager in taking maintenance service requests.

Assist in the completion of all paperwork, which is required by Barker Management Inc.

Assist with all phases of the re-certification process.

Assist the Resident Manager in all functions necessary for a smooth operation of the development.

Channel resident complaints and problems to the proper person or agency.

During the absence of the manager, the Office Assistant assumes the manager’s duties.  (See Resident Manager’s job description)

Other duties may be assigned.
