Job description

The modern-casual meatball and butchery-inspired concept is the first of its kind to launch in Phoenix. Brought by visionaries and operators of Tomaso's, Hash Kitchen, The Mexicano, and The Sicilian Baker. The Sicilian Butcher is a chef-driven neighborhood restaurant developed by celebrity chef Joey Maggiore.

This position pays an hourly wage plus tips averaging $21.00-$25.00 an hour. 

Requirements 

  • Be at least 18 years of age 
  • Previous restaurant and beverage experience 
  • Must have a current food handlers card or be able to obtain one
  • Must have experience, a positive attitude, be punctual, and be a team player
  • Willing to go the extra mile to satisfy every need of our guests. 



A Day in The Life

The Barista/Bakery Counter Staff will work in the bakery assisting customers, preparing baked goods, and acting as a barista preparing custom coffee beverages for guests. To succeed in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of brewing equipment. You should also be able to work various shifts. 

  • Greet customers, present drink menus, answer questions, and offer recommendations. 
  • Take orders while paying attention to details. 
  • Prepare beverages following The Sicilian Butcher's recipes. 
  • Serve beverages and bakery items with aesthetically pleasing presentation 
  • Monitor the visual appeal and inventory of baked goods on display 
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area, including coffee and drink-making equipment 
  • Comply with safety regulations
