Job description

We are currently seeking an RN for our busy, state of the art Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Duties include prepping the patient for surgery, IV initiation, health histories and physical exams, delivery of fluids, invasive monitoring, IV drug administration, recovery of patient, discharge instructions and follow-ups.
  • Assist surgeon during procedures - including removal of wisdom teeth, extractions, orofacial orthopedics, maxillary and mandibular jaw reconstruction, TMJ treatments, oral oncology/ biopsies, dental implants, facial trauma, clefts and cosmetic facial surgery.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments, 
  • Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations, assess post-operative 
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
  • Maintain patient medical records
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

Qualifications:

  • CPR/ACLS Certification
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong leadership qualities

We are a boutique, patient-centric practice.  This position is full time, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.  Salary is negotiable based on experience.
