What does a Bard Access specialist do?

A typical day for a Bard Access Specialist involves assessing patients for vascular access needs, performing catheter insertions (such as PICC lines and midlines), and monitoring for potential complications. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to determine the best access solutions and educate both patients and team members on care protocols.
