Overview

The Barback is responsible for supporting concessions bar operations by restocking products and supplies to ensure concession stands remain fully stocked and operational during events. This position assists Bartenders and the Bar Lead while ensuring all company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service and safety are followed. The Concessions Barback must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work scheduled events based on business needs.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $22.50 - $23.50 and is tip eligible.

This is a temporary role that will start June 11, 2026 and will end on June 23, 2026

This position will remain open until June 31, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Stock and replenish all bar products, including alcoholic beverages, nonalcoholic beverages, ice wells, cups, napkins, utensils, stirrers, fruit, and other supplies.
  • Move kegs in and out of keg coolers, tap kegs, and assist with beverage setup and breakdown.
  • Support bartenders and concessions staff by running supplies and maintaining efficient bar operations during events.
  • Ensure bar equipment is clean, operational, and properly set up prior to each event.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bars, storage closets, and surrounding work areas.
  • Perform sanitation duties including sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning and stacking floor mats, emptying and relining trash cans, and removing debris and clutter.
  • Follow all sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and report low stock or operational concerns to supervisors.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and positive communication with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests.
  • Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality while working scheduled events.
  • This position works in a high-volume event environment and may require standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and working in crowded or loud settings during live events.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar or concessions environment preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative attitude.
  • Must possess a valid food handler's certificate and alcohol service permit.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages related to product inventory.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects regularly.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules and business needs.
