Job description

The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar while providing exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality beverages. This role combines leadership, inventory management, staff supervision, and hands-on bartending to create an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring efficient and smooth service.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Hire, train, and supervise bartenders and bar staff.
  • Maintain inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and supplies while controlling costs and minimizing waste.
  • Monitor pour costs, product usage, and bar profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Verify guest identification and enforce age restrictions.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Handle cash, process payments, balance tills, and prepare end-of-shift reports.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with management on seasonal cocktails, promotions, and beverage menu development.

Qualifications:
  • Previous bartending experience required.
  • Prior bar management or supervisory experience preferred.
