Job Description:

Seeking Security Officer!Full-time, varied shifts 1:30pm-10:00p/1:30p-2:00am, some weekendsBaptist Health Floyd, Security Department
Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area

Receiving general direction from the Security Supervisor or designee, enforces Hospital regulations, provides a safe and secure environment for Hospital patients, visitors and employees. The Security officer will enforce Hospital policies and security regulations through active monitoring and patrolling of Baptist property bycontinuously watching for and the timely reporting of potential safety hazards and unusual occurrences ofassigned areas. As determined by supervisory personnel, the Security officer Investigates complaints or potentialcriminal conduct; assists in restraining patients as necessary; provides protective services.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training
