Join the team at Alila Napa Valley, a Forbes 4-Star luxury resort located in the heart of wine country. As part of the Hyatt family, we blend personalized hospitality with authentic local experiences. We are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Manager; someone who is passionate about creating memorable experiences through thoughtful service and exquisite cuisine.
The Food & Beverage Manager leads the overall front-of-house operation across Violetto, Salvia, In-Room Dining, and all banquet functions. This role is responsible for driving luxury service, overseeing staffing and scheduling, managing departmental budgets, supporting hiring and onboarding, and ensuring flawless execution of all food and beverage experiences throughout the resort.
The annual salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. Relocation will not be offered at this time.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the daily operations of all F&B outlets and banquet functions with a strong, visible presence on the floor.
• Ensure consistent alignment with Forbes Travel Guide standards in every guest interaction.
• Partner with the Director of F&B on forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and labor management.
• Oversee the creation and management of schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for all outlets and events.
• Drive hiring efforts: participate in interviews, selection, onboarding, and ongoing development.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate colleagues and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability and luxury hospitality.
• Lead the execution of private events and banquets in partnership with the Events and Culinary teams.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, and beverage cost control measures.
• Monitor service flow, table touches, guest feedback, and adjust resources as needed.
• Address guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and service recovery aligned to luxury standards.
• Support menu rollouts, wine and spirits training, and ongoing product knowledge development.
• Maintain all health, safety, sanitation, and compliance standards across outlets.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years previous supervisory or leadership experience in luxury dining or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Forbes service standards and luxury guest interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and develop colleagues.
• Previous experience with scheduling, payroll oversight, hiring, and performance management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, build engagement, and drive results.
• Strong operational, organizational, and financial acumen.
• ServSafe and Responsible Beverage certifications required or obtained upon hire.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
• Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable using cleaning equipment and handling cleaning products safely
