Job description

Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, Moultrie (www.moultrie.com) is the leader in game feeders and cellular camera innovation, building products used by hunters, property owners, and others for real-time remote monitoring.

We take pride in developing deep user understanding, obsessing about the details, and going the extra mile to show our users we love them. Moultrie is customer-driven - hardware, software, marketing, and customer success teams collaborate to deliver a quality user experience.

We are guided by the following principles: Customer Obsession.; Excellence is the Standard.; Bias for Action.; Act Boldly.; Deliver Results.; Hire and Develop the Best.; Be Curious and Learn.; Win as a Team

Job Summary

Our field team is comprised of hunters, property owners and land managers who show up at retailers, banquets and events to put our products in front of customers who hunt like they do. You run that program.

This role owns Moultrie's field team program and reports to the National Account Sales Manager inside the sales organization. You inherit an established field team and strategy, and your job is to keep driving and evolving it - ownership, not maintenance. You set store-visit goals across the year, administer the trade-up code program, support field-team social content and lead field-team participation in retail, trade, consumer and banquet events. The program and its tracking run on a proprietary platform you will use daily to manage members, track store visits, coordinate events and keep a distributed team moving. The right person is a natural relationship-builder, a strong project manager and treats technology as a working tool not a novelty.

Job Responsibilities

Field Team Leadership & Management (35%)

  • Lead and manage a nationwide field team of volunteer members
  • Continue driving and evolving the existing field team app and strategy built by the outgoing manager, with ownership rather than maintenance
  • Recruit, onboard and manage new field team members, and design and maintain incentive plans that drive participation
  • Use the Moultrie tracker daily to organize, prioritize and track field-team projects

Store Visits (25%)

  • Set store-visit goals and cadence for the year, and track performance on an ongoing basis
  • Coordinate field-team execution of store visits, including merchandising and retail-partner relationships
  • Report store-visit performance to sales leadership

Events & Banquets (25%)

  • Plan and coordinate field-team participation in retail, trade and consumer events
  • Drive strong field-team attendance at conservation banquets including Whitetails Unlimited, Safari Club International, NWTF and Delta Waterfowl
  • Coordinate event and banquet logistics and staffing, and report on outcomes

Social Media Support (10%)

  • Support field-team members in creating and posting content that documents store visits and events
  • Maintain content guidelines for field-team social posts in coordination with marketing

Performance & Reporting (5%)

  • Use data to measure store-visit, trade-up code and event program performance
  • Adjust strategy and tactics based on performance data
  • Report KPIs to sales leadership and recommend course corrections
Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of sales, account management or field marketing experience, preferably in the outdoor products category
  • Experience managing a distributed team or network - field representatives, brand ambassadors or similar
  • Experience with retail sales, trade shows or event-based promotions
  • Daily working fluency with AI tools for project organization and content creation
  • Strong project management, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Asana
  • Strong ability to build relationships with field team members, hunters and retail partners
  • Understanding of social platforms (Meta, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Content creation ability and strong visual storytelling
  • Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Passion for hunting and the outdoors
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% to support field team, store-visit and events as needed
