We are currently looking for an Investment Banking Associate to join our Energy & Power team in the Houston, TX office.

Our associate position offers a unique opportunity for ambitious professionals seeking to play a meaningful role in our continued growth while gaining significant experience in M&A, debt, equity and equity-linked transactions. The associate will prepare valuations, write memorandums for company sale assignments and private placements, prepare M&A analyses, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public offerings. The associate is responsible for structuring and executing transactions, and typically functions as a backup for relationships with important clients, is generally the key contact for some clients, and begins to assume some important new business responsibilities.

  • 3 years of experience involving financial analysis, transaction execution or related

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop rapport with existing and potential clients

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling

  • Degree in finance, business, management, engineering, science, or other related degrees; an MBA would be an asset

  • U.S. work eligibility is required.

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $135,000 - $225,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
