Collision Center Administrative Assistant– Northside Lexus

Accuracy. Honesty. Attention to detail. If you have these qualities AND want to make a great living putting them to use, then our dealership has an opportunity for you. The Administrative Assistant position provides a thorough introduction into the world of collision repair.

As our Administrative Assistant, you will work with some of the best collision center estimators and managers in the business to ensure that repairs are estimated properly and delivered as promised. Our goal is to always exceed expectations.

Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

    • Greet Customers and Visitors
    • Explain repair estimates to customers. Ensure their understanding.
    • As appropriate, help customers process their insurance claims.
    • Answer incoming phone calls. Route them to the correct associate. Record messages accurately.
    • Enter the data into the appropriate databases.
    • Handle Accounts Receivable. Coordinate actions with management.
    • Collect payments from customers for repairs completed. Carefully explain repair charges to customers. Refer disputes to management.
    • Make daily bank deposits of cash and checks received.
    • Receive deliveries of inventory. Route to the correct associate.
    • Assist with bi-weekly payroll
    • Handle basic administrative tasks – typing, copying, filing, etc. – for management

Qualifications and Professional Attributes

    • Demonstrated ability to work professionally and courteously with customers
    • A people-focused mindset and a passion for providing great customer service
    • Proficiency with multiline phone systems and computers
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
    • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED

Customer service experience is a plus
