Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) Custody is a new and growing area of the firm that provides a powerful platform for RIAs to perform diversified investing and portfolio management with significant customization. We are a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with a passion for building digital capabilities for our rapidly growing client base.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
We're looking for an Associate to be part of our best-in-class Service Team within the Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions business line.
As part of this role, you will be responsible to assist and deliver shared service for multiple business-to-business clients. You will ensure the overall satisfaction of these RIA firms. Through outstanding client service and problem solving, you will build meaningful relationships with various members of the advisory firms. You will help drive service strategy across the department.
RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Act as the primary or secondary point of contact for business-to-business clients with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and craft personalized solutions that drive asset growth and retention through the Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions (GSAS) platform.
  • Demonstrate strong industry and operational expertise over assigned business segment, such as investment and banking products and services.
  • Keep open communication with client regarding events, key issues, or new product/feature releases that could impact the standing of the relationship.
  • Collaborate effectively in cross-functional activities associated with onboarding new clients, delivering against client objectives to ensure satisfaction, and support new products and services that will strategically drive business growth. Serve as an internal champion for clients.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand internal risk with external needs while remaining an advocate of the voice of the client, resulting in win-win outcomes.
  • Create reporting that provides leadership transparency into segments of client firms or regional performance and goals.
  • Host quarterly reviews with clients to share user activity and product trends along with a detailed level statistics to report to the client.
  • Monitor client satisfaction through internal benchmarks as well as regularly inquiring about their level of satisfaction with our platform/services/processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-5 years in financial services with an emphasis in providing an excellent client experience.
  • Proven experience with fundamentals of providing service excellence, including skills to build rapport, determine client needs, and ability to educate clients/prospects on Goldman's products and services.
  • Ability to find success in a dynamic, deadline driven, and detailed compliance environment.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
  • Strong technical skills including word processing, spreadsheet capabilities and the ability to support our clients as they utilize our web-based products.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Team player with demonstrated initiative/leadership through participation in job related groups or committees.
  • Ability to take the initiative and prioritize tasks, good time management, problem prevention and problem-solving skills
  • Technical skills including word processing, spreadsheet, Salesforce capabilities and the ability to support our clients as they utilize our web-based products.
