Job description

What you will do:

 

In a highly competitive and transforming environment, you will be responsible for developing strategic business corridors within Global Network Banking and ensure HSBC is positioned as the leading international corporate bank. You will report to the Head of Global Network Banking in France.

In this role you will:

  • Manage corridors with growth potential within Global Network Banking in France.
  • Regional oversight across Continental Europe Global Network Banking for the China corridor, working closely with relevant GRB teams and in-country GNB CE teams to drive new referrals, deepen wallet share with key clients, and manage risks & issues which may arise from time to time.
  • Lead a team of Relationship Managers (RMs), Business Support and an Analyst dedicated to this corridor, and encouraging collaboration and interaction across teams.
  • Manage risks and ensure alignment with internal compliance policies.
  • Define and drive the commercial strategy for services and products, leveraging the HSBC network.
  • Embed client relationship excellence by offering services and products tailored to client needs, leveradge the HSBC network, anticipating future needs, and build trusted client relationships.
  • Ensure sustainable growth of the client base.                                         
  • Act as the go-to expert for the relevant corridor for both clients and the HSBC network.

  • Knowledge of the relevant geographies, sectors and key corporates
  • Corporate banking experience including credit assessment is required, international experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing and growing portfolio of clients that are headquartered in Asia or the Middle East will be an asset
  • Fluent English, Chinese, and eventually French.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to share and present complex information in a clear, concise, and accurate way
