Relationship Banker - Westfield/Carmel Banking Center
Do you enjoy building relationships, helping clients achieve their financial goals, and delivering exceptional service? The National Bank of Indianapolis is seeking a Relationship Banker to join our Westfield/Carmel Banking Center team.
In this role, you'll build and strengthen client relationships by opening new accounts, identifying banking solutions, and providing outstanding service while supporting the daily operations of the Banking Center.
How You'll Contribute
  • Open and maintain personal and business deposit accounts while ensuring a seamless client experience
  • Build strong client relationships by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate Bank products and services
  • Research and respond to client inquiries, providing accurate information on products, services, and rates
  • Support daily Banking Center operations by serving as backup on the teller line and assisting with branch activities
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to Customer Service Representatives and assist with daily balancing and operational procedures
  • Process credit card and loan requests within established lending authority
  • Assist with Banking Center audits and maintain compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and security standards
  • Respond to client questions through Banno Chat and assist in resolving service issues
  • Participate in business development efforts with current and prospective clients
  • Provide backup support for Banking Center leadership as needed

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of teller or Customer Service Representative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience opening new accounts helpful
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with banking systems
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to interpret data and formulate decisions/solutions
