Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.
  • Opens game at assigned table, counts contents, verifies count with closing list, inspects cards or dice, and signs off with supervisor.
  • Deals games, pays out winnings, exchanges currency for chips, and informs guests of game rules.
  • Changes over deck of cards or dice; inspects and mixes cards.
  • Verifies bank roll fills with the supervisor and Security personnel.
  • Ensures protection of game; maintains continuous inspection of cards or dice; ensures betting in compliance with game rules and minimums set.
  • Closes game; sorts cards, balances rack, counts chips, and signs off with the supervisor.
  • Maintains the honesty and integrity of assigned games, controlling pace.
  • Assists guest with questions regarding casino activities or refers to appropriate personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6 months of casino dealing experience is required. Must have Blackjack and Roulette and/or Craps.
  • Must be able to pass an Audition.
  • Must understand and speak the English language.
  • Must have excellent guest service skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
