Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful delivery of complex IT implementation projects. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and expertise in Agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience managing enterprise system implementations, with a preference for PeopleSoft HCM, and projects involving payroll or financial system integrations.


Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including:

  • Managing project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery
  • Coordinating closely with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Senate Product Owner (PO) to align priorities and expectations
  • Identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ensuring adherence to Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies and established project governance frameworks
  • Overseeing project communications, including status reporting, stakeholder updates, and executive briefings
  • Ensuring all deliverables meet defined quality standards and performance requirements
  • Facilitating collaboration across cross-functional teams, including technical, functional, and business stakeholders

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing IT implementation projects

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise system implementations, preferably PeopleSoft HCM
  • Proven experience managing Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing projects involving payroll systems and/or financial system integrations

Desired Skills

  • Experience working in government or legislative environments
  • Familiarity with federal project governance and compliance standards
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications

Security Clearance

  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance
