Job Summary
The Community Relations Project Manager is responsible for coordinating community relations projects throughout the full lifecycle. The Project Manager arranges and monitors community engagement initiatives, sponsorships, health screenings, events and partnership activities through development, implementation and evaluation. The Project Manager works closely with internal stakeholders and community partners to ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with organizational goals.
Candidates for this position must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be deadline-driven and highly organized. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical to the role. Candidates must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively and possess excellent planning and problem-solving skills. This position requires a strong work ethic, self-motivation, confidence and the ability to work with different personalities as a team player.

Job Description
Essential Functions:
  • Create or assist in the creation of multiple project plans and schedules.
  • Manage community relations projects including sponsorships, health screenings, events and community partnerships.
  • Work closely with Community Relations team and internal stakeholders to coordinate community engagement activities and related resources.
  • Monitor the daily progress of projects.
  • Be proactive in meeting all deadlines and ensuring projects are completed on time.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate event logistics including scheduling, staffing, venues, supplies and equipment.
  • Attend sponsorship committee meetings and assist with evaluation and management of sponsorship opportunities.
  • Recruit, coordinate and support volunteers and staff participating in community events.
  • Collect and report data related to community programs, sponsorships and events.
  • Provide detailed updates to leadership, team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure team members have the information and resources needed to complete assigned tasks on time.
  • Work efficiently through high volumes while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Take appropriate action if a deadline is not being met.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements
Required:
Education - Associates degree in Related Field or equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered to satisfy this requirement
Preferred:
Experience - 2+ years of Project Management Experience
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
