Job description

Position: Pediatric General Surgeon, board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Surgery, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Metropolitan Atlanta, GA.

Schedule: Two half-days per week in the outpatient clinic, plus elective and emergent surgeries. Approximately 7 days per month of call coverage with no trauma or ECMO responsibilities.

Outpatient

The outpatient clinic is located within walking distance to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. The practice offers opportunities to build chest wall deformity, bariatric, and robotic programs, with immediate referrals from the large pediatric patient base within the system.

Inpatient

Inpatient surgeries will be performed at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, which includes a Level 3 NICU and a 6‑bed PICU. The facility features state‑of‑the‑art robotics and laparoscopic surgery. The practice is expected to build to approximately 1,000 surgical cases per year, with 400 cases performed in the first year.
