Job description

Do you love working fitness? Passionate about helping others become the best version of themselves? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

East Bank Club is looking to add Personal Trainers to its award-winning team! You will conduct personal training sessions and manage your schedule with new and existing clients. You will be expected to assist with members of all athletic abilities, including injuries. You will demonstrate above-average customer service skills and have an energetic personality.


Rate of Pay:
$31.00-37.10/45 min


This position is commissioned based at 50% for services provided

Part-time Schedule:

Weekdays 4:00-9:15 pm

One weekend day (4-hour shift) anytime 8:00am-3:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Complete intake forms for new clients to assess skills and abilities
  • Prescribe workout programs to help members achieve their set goals.
  • Facilitate safe and effective training sessions per EBC Standards.
  • Assist members throughout the club as needed.
  • Build and grow your book of business with new and existing members.

Requirements

  • College B.S. degree in a heath or exercise science related major with mandatory coursework in kinesiology, anatomy, and exercise physiology
  • Certification in a nationally recognized personal training organization (ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE)
  • CPR/AED Certified
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to perform exercises and movements as demonstrations for clients
  • Empathetic attitude, able to understand each client’s individual goals, emotions and needs
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of personality types
  • Enthusiastic/passionate about fitness
  • Previous experience as a personal trainer preferred
