We are currently accepting applications for an ACH Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accurate and compliant processing of ACH transaction. The work schedule will be on-site Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:30 pm MDT in Midvale, UT or Phoenix, AZ.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process ACH transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Handle daily ACH origination tasks, including client file processing, returns, reversals, rejects, death notifications, and reclamations.
  • Conduct OFAC verifications and manage exception items.
  • Set up and maintain ACH contracts for origination clients.
  • Review daily reports, perform reconciliations, and complete data entry tasks.
  • Develop a working knowledge of Federal Regulation E, OFAC guidelines, and NACHA Operating Rules.
  • Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal partner issues.
  • Conduct transactional research and assist with technical problem-solving.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent and some experience with accounting, balancing, banking and electronic payment processing, ACH systems or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
  • Strong research, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and resolve issues with guidance.
  • Proficiency in PC applications; knowledge of ACH systems is a plus.
