About BAM Concrete Coatings

BAM Concrete Coatings is a fast-growing, $10M+ home improvement company specializing in premium concrete floor coatings for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. With multi-location operations and aggressive expansion underway, we are building a high-performance leadership team to strengthen financial discipline, operational efficiency, and profitability.

We’re looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves digging into financial details, and wants to help shape the future of a rapidly scaling company.

Unique Mentorship Opportunity

This position offers direct professional mentorship from a CFO of a large national home improvement company who serves on BAM’s Board of Directors. It’s a rare chance to gain executive-level financial insight and grow toward a Director of Finance or CFO-level role.

  • Lead and oversee the company’s full accounting function across multiple locations
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain and enforce accrual-based accounting practices consistent with GAAP
  • Supervise A/R, A/P, payroll allocations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities
  • Oversee job costing, inventory tracking, and gross margin analysis by location
  • Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts and financial dashboards

  • Partner with department heads to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy
  • Collaborate with the external CPA for audits, tax planning, and filings
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and ownership

Who You Are

  • You take ownership, bring structure to fast-moving environments, and close the books on time
  • You have an eye for detail but also see the big financial picture
  • You’re proactive, analytical, and solution-driven
  • You thrive in QuickBooks Online and Excel, and love streamlining processes
