The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a Ballet Instructor to teach youth Ballet classes in a structured, supportive environment. Classes are held on Saturdays from 11am to 1:30pm in scheduled sessions.


This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing YMCA located just five miles west of New York City in the waterfront city of Perth Amboy. Since 1912, the Raritan Bay Area YMCA has proudly served the evolving needs of our community. Today, we support more than 6,000 members in the Raritan Bay area through programs and initiatives focused on Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.


Role Summary:


The Ballet Instructor will teach ballet technique, choreography, and movement fundamentals while encouraging confidence and creativity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Experience teaching ballet to children and youth
  • Knowledge of ballet technique and choreography
  • CPR/AED certified or willing to obtain
