Description
Balance Autism is looking for a Campus Managing Program Coordinator to join our Intermediate Care Facility for people with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID) program located in Pleasant Hill, IA!
This position is responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating programming for persons served in Balance Autism Adult Services program, along with oversight and management duties performed personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implements individualized program processes to ensure full regulatory compliance and organizational compliance policies.
  • Demonstrates effective conflict resolution, team building, and positive communication skills when interacting with others.
  • Assures all persons served have a comprehensive care plan that is reviewed annually.
  • Guarantee adequate hiring and effective retention of qualified Program Managers and Autism Associates (AA).
  • Assures staff is properly trained to perform the essential functions of their position.
  • Assures achievement of budget results within assigned area(s).
  • Identifies and monitors key business results within assigned area(s) and follows established reporting mechanisms.
  • Participates in regular and on-going performance improvement for areas of responsibility.
  • Effectively manages guardian concern resolutions.
  • Attends meetings such as family and/or school conferences for coordination of care.
  • Identifies new and appropriate individuals to serve in collaboration with Admissions and Director.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Education and/or Experience -bachelor's degree with one year's related experience working with persons affected by a disability in Adult Services; two years of supervisory experience required for an ICF/ID environment at Campus and Youth Home MPC required
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Pass employment motor vehicle report and criminal background checks.
  • Pass pre-employment TB test.
  • Participates in on-call rotation.

We will conduct a pre-employment motor vehicle and criminal background check.
