Bakery Clerk

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Bakery Clerk to work in our bakery storefront. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while keeping the store clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

  • Welcome customers, answer questions, and assist with cake and pastry orders.
  • Operate the Square POS system and accurately process cash and card payments.
  • Pack and prepare bakery orders for customers, pickup, and delivery.
  • Monitor pastry and cake inventory and update stock in the system.
  • Keep display refrigerators, counters, shelves, trays, and customer areas clean and organized.
  • Restock and arrange pastries and cookies throughout the shift.
  • Complete opening duties, including checking the cash drawer, cleaning displays, organizing products, and entering starting inventory.
  • Complete closing duties, including counting inventory, closing the cash drawer, preparing cash deposits, cleaning displays and counters, vacuuming/mopping, and properly storing bakery products.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming bakery environment.

We’re looking for someone who is: reliable, detail-oriented, friendly with customers, comfortable handling cash and POS systems, and willing to help keep the bakery clean and organized.
