About the Role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our Alsip, IL bakery. As a Production Supervisor, you will be accountable for leading production line operations, driving team performance, and ensuring efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement across all production activities.

Salary Range: $71,000- 75,000

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

  • Lead daily production line operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time output
  • Supervise, schedule, and allocate team resources to meet production goals
  • Analyze production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and manage production reports, metrics, and data tracking
  • Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions to improve safety and processes
  • Collaborate with maintenance and cross-functional teams to resolve production issues
  • Coach, train, and evaluate team members to drive engagement and performance

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-4 years of manufacturing experience
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze data and recommend process improvements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Experience in a high-volume food manufacturing or bakery environment
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or similar systems
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma exposure)
  • Proven track record of team development and performance management
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance standards
