Job Summary
We are seeking a Pastry Chef to join our team! In this role, you will prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweets. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for developing innovative desserts. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, we’d like to hear from you! 
Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare a variety of desserts and sweets, including cakes, pies, cookies, breads, and pastries
  • Develop new and innovative recipes 
  • Decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
  • Prepare custom orders
  • Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary  
  • Supervise pastry assistants and bakers
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred 
  • Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
  • Knowledge of gluten-free baking, sugar-free baking, and other ingredient limitations
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Previous experience decorating cakes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
