Location: 555 Coolwood Drive, Valparaiso, IN 46383
Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Bakery Driver (Non-CDL) to join our team. The Bakery Driver will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of baked goods to various locations. This role involves loading and unloading delivery trucks of product on rolling trays, conducting daily vehicle inspections, and occasionally using a hand jack and lifting items up to 25 pounds.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload bakery products onto delivery trucks with care and efficiency.
  • Deliver products to stores according to scheduled routes and timelines.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Use a hand jack for moving products as needed.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with store personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in a delivery or similar role preferred.
