Position Summary:

Responsible for delivering products from Bakery to store locations. Responsible for loading and unloading trucks, pick up of returns to be brought to Bakery. May have deliveries other than store routes. Maintain basic truck/van maintenance. Perform daily inspection of truck and report on logbook, per DOT regulations.

Education:

High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience:

Driving experience required.

Driving license is required.

Qualifications:

Must be able to plan and organize own workday. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Flexible work schedule, weekends and holidays are required. Ability to drive a van and large box truck. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to push/pull large stacks of product. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. requires bending, stretching and good eye/hand coordination. Ability to work with deadlines and follow instructions, also able to remember routes and schedules.

Other Duties:

Occasionally may be required to work in other areas. Assist with stock and maintenance at Bakery.

Environmental Conditions:

Varies with change of seasons. Hot/Cold indoor/outdoor temperatures. Exposure to chemicals used with truck maintenance (oil, DEF fluid, other additives, cleaners)
