Position Title: Bagger Position
Summary: The Bagger is responsible for providing excellent customer service by efficiently and accurately bagging groceries, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. During down time the bagger will assist with cleaning the store and stocking shelves as needed. This role plays a key part in creating a positive shopping experience for customers and supporting store operations.
General Purpose: To assist customers during the checkout process by bagging groceries, ensuring items are handled with care, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Bagger also helps customers by offering assistance with loading groceries into their vehicles when needed.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently and accurately bag groceries, ensuring products are properly packed and protected.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with any special requests.
  • Ensure that bags are packed in a way that makes it easy for customers to carry and unload their items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bagging area and the front-end of the store.
  • Assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles when requested.
  • Keep an eye on inventory and notify the cashier or store management of any low supplies, such as bags or other materials.
  • Help with gathering shopping carts from the parking lot and returning them to the store.
  • Provide support to other team members when needed, including assisting with stocking or cleaning tasks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and store policies to ensure a safe working environment.
