Job Description:
A Shift Manager is responsible assisting customers, and ensuring operations of the store run smoothly within the shift. Duties may include operating a point of sales register, bagging groceries, answering the phone, stocking groceries, overseeing company employees, and most importantly, providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate would have flexibility to work evenings, and weekends.
Primary Duties:
  • Set the example: provide friendly, prompt, and efficient customer service.
  • Create a shift plan and instruct, assign, and review plan with employees.
  • Create a positive work environment by keeping a positive attitude, encouraging employees, keeping work fun and flexible while also setting the example and following company standards.
  • Assist customers with questions and requests.
  • Assist with front-line operations. (Bagging groceries, operating point of sales register, etc.)
  • Stock and rotate product.
  • Practice proper sanitation procedures and complete required cleaning to ensure work areas and displays are kept neat and clean.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines.
  • Report to work when scheduled and on time.

Requirements
Qualifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right person!
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, lift up to 20 pounds frequently, and lift up to 10 pounds constantly to move product.
  • Must be able to carefully operate equipment necessary to perform job.
