Job Summary

Actively engages customers to create a unique experience, providing excellent customer service and assistance during the checkout process; provides carry out service of customers' purchases. Maintain a safe and clean environment throughout the store while maintaining supply levels for the front end.


Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Bags customer purchases, carries them out and loads them into vehicle (as needed)
  • Performs price checks.
  • Sorts and returns items to normal shelf location with priority given to refrigerated and perishable items.
  • Collects shopping carts from parking lot.
  • Maintains a safe and clean environment.
  • Ensures front entrance areas and common public areas such as walkways and vestibules are clean, dry and safe.
  • Replenishes supplies such as bags and trash liners at check stand
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Works in a non-smoking store environment where there is not physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, etc. Works outside in all weather conditions to retrieve carts and assist customers.
