Job description

Position Description:

The Parts Puller is responsible for locating and packaging parts per customer orders daily. This individual ensures that the proper parts are packaged and organized in the customer’s order before moving the order on to the next work area. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Counting, packing, shrink wrapping and logging parts per customer’s purchase orders. 
  • Identifying 80/20 parts to ensure that orders are accurate.
  • Accurately counting parts as well as logging and bagging them
  • Operating vertical storage units
  • Processing appropriate paperwork 
  • Daily communication with Parts Pulling Team Leader and other employees of needs for orders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Upholds the 80/20 attitude in all aspects of their job and interactions with others at 80/20 Inc.
  • Basic computer and Windows experience.
  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work well within a team or independently to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Strong sense of urgency and high personal accountability.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.
  • Able to stand, twist, bend, squat, stoop, kneel and lift 40 lbs. on a continuous basis for a 10-hour workday with or without reasonable accommodation.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of experience with parts pulling in a manufacturing/production environment or similar experience in a fast-paced work environment (retail packaging and distribution, service industry, etc.)
