Job description

Dallas Logistics Team Leader

We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee the daily operations of the Dallas Logistics team, encompassing Receiving, Material Stores and Shipping. This role reports directly to a remote leader with a dotted line reporting relationship to local management. The primary objective is to control the efficient flow of goods and information from the point of origin to internal delivery, ensuring all demand requirements are met through the execution and continuous improvement of stand logistics processes.

Supervise non-exempt personnel across stockroom, receiving and shipping functions; establish daily work priorities and manage labor, including overtime approval.

Lead the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of high-caliber performers. Drive professional growth through OTJ training, mentoring and the establishment of individual and team goals.

Conduct regular performance reviews and manage all HR related activities, including disciplinary actions and accountability measures.

Utilize data and metrics to drive KPI performance and implement Lean process improvements.

Enforce company safety and security policies. Lead the team in preparing for and supporting internal, external and government audits (DCMA, DCAA and Financial).

Respond rapidly to customer requirements and execute strategic pivots in a dynamic environment while adhering to company processes and policies.

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent professional experience.

Proven track record of leadership within a professional manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to connect with diverse teams.

A "lead by example" philosophy with a passion for talent development and a commitment to mutual accountability.

Proficiency in ERP software (Oracle).

Lean Manufacturing certification or a strong willingness to learn Lean principles.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into informed operational decisions.

Full-Time Salary Range: $75254 - $127930.
