As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Verification in Hartford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, support badge access activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet tools to document activity. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
  • Monitor and report unusual activity, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with visitor management, employee access procedures, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
